Certification
Certificates they earn,
that anyone can check.
Issue certificates and badges when candidates pass an exam or complete a course, under your organisation’s name. Each has a QR code to its own page, where anyone can check it’s valid.
Issued on a pass
Passing an exam or completing a course can issue the credential by itself, at once or weekly.
Checked with a scan
Each credential’s QR code opens its own page, which says whether it’s still valid.
Kept and shared
Candidates keep theirs in a Wallet, add them to LinkedIn and list them on a Public profile.
Credential templates
Your logo and signature on every certificate
Choose one of the platform’s designs for your certificates and badges, then add your logo, and a signatory’s name, title and signature.
- Each credential is filled in with its holder’s name, the Credential name, its dates and Credential ID, and the score if its design shows one.
- Certificates download as PDF, and badges as PNG.
- One template of each kind is your Default. Editing a template changes only credentials issued afterwards.
Recipient groups
Who gets it, and when
A Recipient group sets what’s issued: the Credential name, its template and email, and how long it lasts. Link it to an exam or a course, and each pass or completion joins it.
- Issuing schedule: each credential goes out as its candidate joins, or weekly, on the day and hour you choose.
- A proctored attempt joins only once it’s cleared or warned.
- Add Recipients by hand, from a CSV file, or from passes and completions before the link, then issue them with Issue Credentials.
- Each credential is emailed as it’s issued, in your organisation’s name, with your message and its link.
Verification page
A page that says whether it’s valid
Each credential has a QR code and a Verify URL, printed on it, that open its Verification page on your organisation’s address. It says whether the credential is Valid, Expired or Revoked, with no sign-in.
- It shows the holder, the Credential name, the dates and the Credential ID, with the file to download.
- It’s under your logo and name, not the platform’s, and kept out of search engines.
- Credential IDs are 12 random characters, so they can’t be guessed. A verifier can also type one in, and one you didn’t issue shows Unknown.
Wallet and Public profile
Candidates keep theirs, and share them
Each candidate finds their certificates and badges under My credentials, their Wallet, to download, copy the link or add to LinkedIn.
- Add to LinkedIn fills in the Credential name, your organisation, the dates, the Credential ID and the link. Share on LinkedIn posts the link.
- A Public profile lists a candidate’s valid and expired credentials, under your logo and name.
- It’s shown unless the candidate hides it. They can also hide single credentials, which still verify.
Expiry, Revocation and Reissue
Expire, revoke or reissue a credential
Each group’s Valid for sets how long its credentials last. An Org Admin can also revoke a credential for good, or reissue it to correct it.
- Valid for: Never, or 1 to 120 months from the Issue date. The page shows Expired after the Expiry date.
- Revocation: one credential at a time, with a reason the candidate is emailed. The page shows Revoked and the date, but not the reason or the file.
- Reissue: a new credential from today’s details, with a new Credential ID. The old one is revoked as Replaced, and its page links to the new one.
Can a certificate be faked?
Not in a way that passes a check. Its QR code opens its Verification page on your organisation’s address, showing what you issued. An edited copy won’t match it, and a made-up Credential ID shows Unknown.
What if a Result changes?
If a regrade turns a pass into a fail, or the attempt is voided, its credential is revoked as “Result changed”, or never issued if it wasn’t yet. A regrade that stays a pass changes nothing.
Do verifiers need an account?
No. Anyone with the QR code, the link or the Credential ID can open its Verification page, without signing in.
Can we use our own design?
Not your own layout. You choose one of the platform’s designs, then add your logo, and a signatory’s name, title and signature.
