Reports

Know how your exams,
and every question, perform.

See how each exam went, which questions work and which don’t. Faulty questions are kept out of new papers, and difficulty tags are corrected from the results.

  • Figures for every exam

Pass rate, average score, scores by skill and how results spread, for the dates you choose.

  • A check on every question

How easy each question proved, and whether it tells strong candidates from weak ones.

  • Faults caught for you

A question that looks wrong is flagged, left out of new papers, and you’re emailed.

Exam Analytics

See how each exam is going

Exam Analytics shows each exam’s attempts, pass rate and average score, for the dates you choose.

  • Score by Skill shows where candidates are strong and where they struggle.
  • Score bands show how results spread.
  • Only released results count, so voided attempts and those still waiting don’t skew them.

Question Health Check

A health check for every question

After an exam runs, its Question Health Check lists every question served on it, weakest first.

  • Ease score: how much of the marks candidates earned on it.
  • Quality score: whether strong candidates do better on it than weak ones.
  • Option analysis shows how many chose each option, so you see whether the key or another option is at fault.
  • Questions with too few responses yet are greyed. Download it all as CSV.

Automatic flags

A faulty question leaves the draw

When strong candidates keep getting a question wrong, its key is probably wrong. It’s flagged, left out of new papers, and you’re emailed.

  • Past results stay as they are. Only a person changes a result.
  • Someone who vets it can clear the flag with a comment, or fix the question.
  • A fixed question starts its figures afresh.

Difficulty Calibration

Difficulty that matches the results

Difficulty Calibration compares a subject’s questions by difficulty with what its Paper Plan needs, and lists those whose results disagree with their Easy, Medium or Hard tag.

  • Approve a correction and the question’s difficulty changes at once, kept in its history.
  • Reject it and the tag stays.
  • Papers already made keep the questions they drew.

Trial questions

New questions tried before they count

Put new questions in trial places on a paper. Candidates answer them, but they don’t count towards the score.

  • A trial that works well is listed as Ready to promote, at the difficulty its results point to.
  • Approve it and it joins the scored questions.
  • Weak trials are listed too, to edit or retire.

Reports and CSV

Every report, to keep or share

Reports also cover proctoring, certificates, course progress and revenue.

  • Each report downloads as CSV, and so do an exam’s results.
  • Your organisation sees only its own figures.

FAQ

Good to know

Something else? Write to us.

Do we need to know the maths?

No. Each figure is explained in a line beside it, and the questions that need a look come first.

Does a flag change candidates’ results?

No. Results already released stay as they are. Only a person can change a result.

Who sees the Question Health Check?

Org Admins, and Reviewers for the subjects they can see. Examiners and Instructors don’t.

How soon do the figures mean something?

Once a question has enough responses. Until then it’s greyed, and nothing is flagged, corrected or promoted on it.
